𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗘 𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗡 was born on March 31, 1983, in Larga village, Briceni district, Republic of Moldova.

At the age of 5, his parents gifted him a small accordion, which immediately sparked his interest. He began studying independently, dedicating his time and effort to developing his musical skills.

Later, he began studying piano at the Music School in Larga village (1990-1998) while maintaining his passion for the accordion. Over time, he decided to change his field of study and transferred to the “accordion” specialty in Professor Aurel Lucaș’s class, and then to the “Ștefan Neaga” Music College (today the “Ștefan Neaga” Center of Excellence in Artistic Education) in Chișinău (1998-2002) in Professor Boris Dolinschi’s accordion class.

After graduation, he returned to his home village and worked as an accordion teacher at the Music School.

Throughout his career as a performer, Vitalie Vataman has carried out extensive activity, participating in numerous competitions, concerts, and festivals. He has also gained beautiful experience collaborating with various artists and performers of folk and pop music, such as:

Sergiu Pavlov, Nicușor Iordan, Corneliu Botgros, Ionuț Dolănescu, Veaceslav Ștefăneț, Igor Rusu, Adriana Ochișanu, Luminița Caluta, Ana Dabija, Maria Constantin, Valentin Sanfira, Constantin Enceanu, Mihaela Tabură, Angry Band, Viorica Lupu, Adrian Ursu, Natalia Gordienco, Victoria Lungu, Mircea Guțu, Igor Cuciuc, Nicolae Slabari, Gabiță Zeta, Ony de la Giurgiu, Marian Marikanu, and many others…

Vitalie Vataman is the creator of the “4K Tutorials with Vitalie Vataman” project, where he details accordion performance technique, covering aspects such as correct fingering and stylistics. His project promotes various melodies and musical genres, offering an impressive set of 100 pieces for study.

Vitalie Vataman is also the founder of the “Vitalie Vataman Band” (2018) and the author of several original compositions: Sârba fericirii, Impresii lăutărești, Sârba Lărgenilor, Cu gândul la Familie, Zile triste, Pasiunea sufletului, Tu ești sensul vieții mele, Pe puls lăutăresc, Hora elevilor, Pe unda inimii, Nuanțe Rafinate, etc.

During 2020, Vitalie was involved in a heartfelt project alongside musician, composer, and producer Mohammed Alhasan from Bahrain. Together, they released the track “Memories Waltz,” in collaboration with great musicians such as Ali Aloliwi, Bilal Kalayciogullari, and Ahmed Alqattan.
